With over two decades of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management and financial operations, preceded by 10 years serving on the clinical side of healthcare. Jeremy Sturgill brings a uniquely comprehensive perspective to healthcare technology and enterprise payment integrity strategy.

As President and Co-Founder of Intelligent EDI, Jeremy has led the development and commercialization of scalable SaaS healthcare billing and revenue cycle management platforms supporting federal and state healthcare organizations, multi-facility provider networks, and enterprise partners. He previously served as a lead operating executive in the design and deployment of a revenue cycle management solution licensed across 135 Department of Defense facilities worldwide, supporting over 6 million annual claims and more than $400 million in collections.

Jeremy’s work spans healthcare EDI standards (837/835), pharmacy billing (NCPDP), treasury reporting frameworks (NACHA, BAI2), and secure cloud deployment aligned with enterprise governance and compliance requirements. He has overseen federal and state SaaS contracts exceeding $150 million in aggregate value and driven measurable operational improvements, including multi-million-dollar revenue enhancements through workflow and automation redesign.

His leadership combines clinical insight, technical depth, and strategic platform development to help enterprise partners embed reconciliation intelligence, strengthen financial controls, and support scalable growth across complex healthcare ecosystems.

Benjamin John
Chief of Staff & Co-Founder

Benjamin John brings more than three decades of operational leadership experience across professional sports, higher learning, technology, and healthcare environments. His career has been defined by building disciplined operational frameworks, scaling organizations, and managing complex vendor and partnership ecosystems.

As Executive Director of a professional sports franchise, Benjamin led strategic planning initiatives, financial oversight, multi-channel growth strategies, and enterprise vendor relationships. He managed large-scale partnerships with global brands including Nike, Adidas, Soccer.com, and the U.S. Soccer Federation, while overseeing budgeting, revenue optimization, compliance, and organizational expansion across multiple satellite programs. His leadership encompassed Board reporting, legal and licensing governance, workforce management, and technology modernization initiatives.

An early adopter of technology platforms, Benjamin worked closely with leading registration, communication, and data management systems, advising on financial tracking, reconciliation, and operational automation tools. His work included collaboration with international technology groups to execute go-to-market strategies for advanced performance data platforms.

At Intelligent EDI, Benjamin oversees enterprise operations, program governance, and strategic account management. He leads client engagement, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution to ensure scalable delivery, disciplined operational controls, and a best-in-class customer experience across the healthcare financial ecosystem.

Sajeev VJ
Head of Technology

Sajeev brings over two decades of experience delivering enterprise software platforms, integration architectures, and digital transformation initiatives for global organizations across healthcare and non-healthcare sectors. His career has focused on designing and implementing mission-critical systems that enable secure data exchange, operational efficiency, and scalable enterprise performance.

Throughout his professional tenure, Sajeev has supported organizations including Boeing, Panasonic, FedEx, Nike, GAP, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Hoag Hospitals, and other enterprise clients. His work spans e-commerce platforms, ERP systems, research and analytics environments, AI/ML initiatives, and healthcare billing and revenue cycle management solutions. He has led complex technology programs aligned with business and operational objectives, ensuring that enterprise systems deliver measurable value while maintaining reliability and governance.

Within healthcare, Sajeev has contributed to revenue cycle management initiatives operating under HIPAA-regulated environments, emphasizing PHI protection, auditability, secure integrations, and adherence to industry best practices. His experience in regulated technology environments supports IntelEDI’s focus on interoperability, compliance-aware solution design, and scalable data workflows.

Dr. Prakash Patel
Strategic Healthcare Advisor

Dr. Prakash Patel brings more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, with a distinguished track record of driving enterprise strategy, operational execution, and multi-platform growth across complex healthcare organizations. He has consistently operated at the intersection of payor, provider, and technology ecosystems, leading large-scale initiatives focused on integrated care models and solutions for chronic and complex patient populations.

Most recently, Dr. Patel served as Executive Vice President and President of the Diversified Business Group at Anthem, Inc., where he was responsible for strategic direction and significant enterprise growth initiatives. Prior to Anthem, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the GuideWell Enterprise and Florida Blue and as President of GuideWell Health. His earlier leadership roles include executive positions at Magellan Health Services, Internet Healthcare Group, and Scheer & Company.

Throughout his career, Dr. Patel has focused on aligning innovation, operational discipline, and value-based care strategies to deliver measurable performance outcomes across national healthcare platforms. His experience leading regulated healthcare enterprises and navigating payer-provider integration strategies provides strategic insight into the financial, operational, and policy dynamics shaping the industry.

Dr. Patel earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan and his Medical Doctorate from Cornell University Medical College. He currently serves as a Board Member for Dugout Ventures and participates in national healthcare leadership forums, including HCP-LAN (CMS Alliance). His civic engagement includes supporting education and healthcare initiatives focused on underserved populations.

Kevin Kidd
EVP & Senior Partner

Kevin Kidd is a healthcare payments and treasury strategy executive with deep expertise at the intersection of banking, revenue cycle management, financial technology, and regulatory compliance. He currently serves as the executive leader for healthcare industry strategy and heads Healthcare Payment Solutions within a major multinational banking institution, where he focuses on integrating banking infrastructure directly into healthcare revenue cycle and treasury ecosystems.

Kevin is the Co-Founder and former Chief Business Development Officer of AxiaMed, a private equity-backed healthcare payment technology platform that he led from product ideation through venture capital investment and ultimate acquisition by Bank of America in 2021. Under his leadership, AxiaMed developed secure, scalable healthcare payment solutions designed to modernize patient financial engagement and provider revenue workflows.

Prior to founding AxiaMed, Kevin was an equity partner at Waller Lansden, a nationally recognized law firm, where he built and led the firm’s payments and financial technology practice group. His legal and strategic advisory work focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, payment platform technologies, PayFac structures, alternative payment models, and compliance frameworks, including PCI and card network regulatory requirements. His clients included healthcare service organizations, financial institutions, technology companies, and private equity and venture capital firms.
